This Week @ ECF – 11/20/11

“Happy Thanksgiving!”

ECF welcomes Missionaries Dan and Brenda Clowers! These dedicated veteran missionaries serve as Directors of Latin America & Caribbean. We will be encouraged and exhorted regarding the heartbeat of God – “Missions!” Prayerfully consider how you can partner with them in their mission!

“The Ephod” is the subject of next Sunday’s sermon. Other than the Jewish culture / religion this is an obscure topic / or issue. We will continue with the second part. Last week I heard a distinct Word to share this expression of God’s grace of a better covenant and a better promise. We will examine a simple overview of “The Ephod” then unpack its significance contrasted to Jesus! Let’s soar as we explore “The Ephod!” AMEN!

A Special Thank You from our Worship Pastor Kerry McClure: “It is a privilege to serve with such loving and caring pastors and congregation. Thank you for your generous birthday love offering. We are blessed!”
– Bro. Kerry.

Today is “Celebration Sunday!”  We are celebrating the fruit (results) of the $’s seeds we received in response to the challenge of Roger Smith’s sermon last month! ARE YOU EXPECTING A HARVEST?

A Special “Thank You” to Sandy Isaacson and all the volunteers who helped with this year’s “Treasure Sale.” Proceeds will be used to help pay for our new sign! Thank you!

Praying In The HARVEST!

Thank God for Labors – The Harvest is ready! Children’s Pastor Lavoe Hartley and Lynn McClure Director of Discipleship Ministries have issued a call for children’s Teachers, Assistants & Volunteers for just a 13 week commitment! Availability is all that is required. It’s Harvest Season for ECF! Let’s reap His Harvest for His Kingdom and enjoy fruit that remains!

“Prepare” is ECF Word for 2011. I encourage you to re-listen to these sermons by podcast, or you can order them on CD free from ECF’s Audio/Video Ministry Department. Let us continue to hear the word of the Lord as we “Prepare” for all God has for us!
