This Week @ ECF 1/15/12

“The world has yet to see what God can do with and for and through and in and by “One Person” who is fully and wholly consecrated to Him. I will try my utmost to be that person.”
D.L. Moody

One star can guide a ship at night. One vote can change a nation. One step must start a journey. One rain drop can start a flood. One light can quell darkness. One word can start a prayer. One life can make a difference. Acts 2:1  And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

“Power of One” is our “Vision – Mission Word” for 2012. Every year we have resolutely relied on a specific “Word” of the Lord for ECF. As Prophet Dale Gentry says, “One word from God can change your life!” ECF’s “Word” comes in different ways through different people. Then it is always confirmed in my spirit!

This year’s 2012 “Word” was no exception. As I began to listen to that “Still Small Voice” in the early fall, I was reviewing a sermon series entitled “The Power of One” that I preached in November of 2006. Then, during a Leadership Luncheon the first of October (2011) Lavoe Hartley anointed and appointed shared the potential of “The Power of One” that is going to manifest in our Body in 2012. AMEN! You are “Prepared!” Let’s soar as we explore “Power of One!”  ~Pastor Oxley
