This Week @ ECF 4/8/12

“Happy Easter”

“Happy Easter!” He is risen! -He is is risen indeed! Jesus was born in a manger – died on The Cross – and rose from the dead! The Cross could not hold Him, the tomb could not hold Him! He has ascended into Heaven and is at the right hand of The Father ever making intercession for us! Wow! Because He lives – all fear is gone, we can face our tomorrows, and life is worth the living! (Thanks Bill Gaither for couching such incredible lyrics in your song
“Because He Lives!”

“Passover Seder” is this week! Seder means “order.” The “Passover Seder” meal is our EASTER Service (Sunday April 8, 10:30am) This year Passover is celebrated April 7 – 14. Our purpose and intent is for us to understand and appreciate Jesus’ Jewishness. Margy Pezdirtz will lead the Seder and Rod Woodruff is our guest Palmist! You will be kindled to
a closer insight of and in Jesus! We give a special “Thank You” to Doug & Kay Huchteman for encouraging this and connecting us to Margy. We’ve known and appreciated Rod for a few  years now. Also, “Thank You” to Kay and her “Eagle Chicks” (Women’s Ministry) for preparing the food and serving us!

“Power of One” is our “Vision – Mission Word” for 2012. Every year we have resolutely relied on a specific “Word” of the Lord for ECF. As Prophet Dale Gentry says, “One word from God can change your life!” ECF’s “Word” comes in different ways through different people. Then it is always confirmed in my spirit!

During a Leadership Luncheon the first of October (2011) Lavoe Hartley anointed and appointed confirmed the potential of “The Power of One” that is going to manifest in our Body in 2012. AMEN! You are “Prepared!”  Next Sunday (April 15, 10:30am) we will conclude this sermon series “Power of One Prayer” – addressing “Divine Partnership” – “For Thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever!”
